Service Description

Students will hand paint a pre knitted sock blank that is 80% super wash Merino wool, 20% silk, 463 yards, using appropriate dyes furnished by the teacher. The next day they will warp rigid heddle looms with the yarn from the blank. The last day students will finish their project. Pictures are white undyed sock blank, next is hand dyed blank, next is sock yarn being warped on the rigid heddle loom, last is example of finished scarf. Instructor is Sue Kawamoto. Cost is $80, which includes all materials. Non-guild students will pay an additional $10. Students need to bring rubber gloves and apron. Minimum 3 students; maximum 4 students.
