Service Description

The instructor is Kate Bishop. We will make a papier-mâché bird and feather it with special papers and other materials. Handmade papers, beads, and other decorative materials will be provided, but if you have some special material you would like to use, please bring it. Saturday: We will make a wire armature for the bird body, determine its posture and attitude, cover it with papier-mâché, choose materials for feathers and accessories, and begin to cut feathers. Sunday: Feather the bird and engineer details to give it personality. This is a very light-hearted class, and I love teaching. Doing art with friends is my happy place.
