16th Annual Bisbee Fiber Arts Festival

Guest Artist: Alexandro Martinez, a 34 years old  Zapotec weaver from

Teotitlan del Valle, Oaxaca; located in the southwestern part of Mexico. Alex will be teaching a three day Rug Weaving Workshop Oct. 3-4-5 and a two day Spinning & Natural Dye Class Oct.12 & 13th

The Bisbee Fiber Arts Guild members meets every Monday evening from 6 to 9 PM to work on their projects. The public is welcome to come to watch and ask questions. Check out our Study Sessions to see other scheduled times. Ginger OLeary is weaving on the second piece she ever wove. It is a scarf for her son and is a log cabin pattern.
Harry Wolters putting on a warp.	Classes are held for people to learn how to do the different forms of fiber arts such as weaving, spinning, knitting, dyeing , etc. Study Sessions are times for the fiber artists to explore in depth the techniques of that art.
